Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Text-based PDFs convert best and give you fully editable text. Scanned or image-only PDFs may come through as images, so the text may not be editable. For the cleanest results, use a PDF that already contains selectable text.

You can convert files up to 25 MB per document, which covers the vast majority of everyday PDFs and Word files.
How do I compress a PDF to make it smaller?
Open the Compress PDF tool, upload your PDF, and download a smaller version in seconds. It reduces file size by optimizing images while keeping your text sharp — ideal for emailing or uploading large PDFs. If a file cannot be shrunk, you get your original back unchanged.
Can I reduce a PDF file size for email for free?
Yes. The Compress PDF tool is completely free and often shrinks image-heavy PDFs by 70–95%, which is usually enough to slip under the 20–25 MB attachment limits most email services enforce.
What is OCR PDF?
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) converts scanned or image-based PDFs into searchable and selectable text, so you can copy, search, and work with text that was previously locked inside an image.
How do I make a scanned PDF searchable?
Open the OCR PDF tool, upload your scanned PDF, and start the conversion. Once processing is complete, download the searchable PDF with the recognized text built in.
Can OCR recognize text from scanned documents?
Yes. OCR can recognize printed text from scanned documents, invoices, books, receipts, contracts, and other image-based PDFs. Recognition accuracy depends on the quality of the original scan.
Is the OCR PDF tool free to use?

How do I convert Excel to PDF for free?
Open the Excel to PDF tool, upload your .xls or .xlsx spreadsheet, and download a clean, shareable PDF in seconds. There is no sign-up and no watermark. We fit each sheet to the page width automatically, so wide spreadsheets do not spill onto extra pages.
How do I convert PDF to Excel?
Open the PDF to Excel tool and upload your PDF. We extract the tables into an editable .xlsx spreadsheet you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. It works best on PDFs that contain real tables, such as invoices, statements, and reports.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Excel?
Text-based PDFs convert most reliably because the numbers are real, selectable text. Scanned or image-only pages are pictures of a table, so the data may not be recognised. For the cleanest result, use a PDF whose text you can select.
How do I convert a PDF to PowerPoint for free?
Open the PDF to PowerPoint tool, upload your PDF, and download an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) presentation in seconds — one slide per page. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost. Open the result in Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides and edit it like any other deck.
How do I convert PowerPoint to PDF?

Can I edit the slides after converting a PDF to PowerPoint?
PDFs with selectable text convert to editable slide content you can change in PowerPoint. Scanned or image-only pages are pictures of text, so those slides may come through as images and the text may not be editable. For the cleanest, fully editable result, use a PDF that already has selectable text.
How do I convert an image to PDF for free?
Open the Image to PDF tool, add your JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC picture, and download it as a PDF in seconds. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost. Each image is placed on a correctly sized page, and phone photos are rotated the right way up automatically.
How do I combine multiple images into one PDF?
Open the Image to PDF tool and add all your images — you can drop a whole batch at once. Put them in the order you want with the up and down controls, remove any you do not need, then convert to get a single PDF with one image per page. You can combine up to 30 images at a time.
Can I convert JPG and PNG to PDF without losing quality?
Yes. JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and HEIC are all supported, and PNG transparency is preserved. Each picture is embedded at full resolution and scaled to fit the page, so your converted PDF stays sharp.
How do I convert a PDF to JPG or PNG images for free?
Open the PDF to Image tool, upload your PDF, choose JPG or PNG and a quality, then convert. Every page becomes its own image — a multi-page PDF downloads as a ZIP, a single page downloads as one image file. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost.
How do I merge PDF files into one for free?
Open the Merge PDF tool and add all the PDFs you want to combine — you can drop a whole batch at once. Put them in the order you want with the up and down controls, then click Merge PDFs to download a single combined document. You can merge up to 30 files at a time, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Does merging PDFs reduce their quality?
No. When you merge PDFs, every page is copied across exactly as it is — text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Nothing is re-rendered or downgraded. If the combined file is large, you can shrink it afterwards with the Compress PDF tool.
How do I split a PDF into separate files for free?
Open the Split PDF tool, upload your PDF, and choose how to split it — every page into its own PDF, fixed-size chunks of a set number of pages, or custom page ranges like 1-3, 4-8, 9. Download the pieces in seconds, with no sign-up and no watermark.
How do I rotate a PDF for free?
Open the Rotate PDF tool and upload your file — every page appears as a thumbnail with its own rotate button. Click it to turn just that page 90° clockwise, or click Rotate All to turn every page at once, then download the fixed PDF. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
How do I scan a document to PDF for free?
Open the Scan to PDF tool on your phone and tap to use your camera directly — no app to install. On a computer, scan the QR code shown on the page with your phone to open the same tool there. Capture each page, crop it to just the document, pick Color, Grayscale, or Black & White, and download one combined PDF. You can also make it searchable with OCR, compress it, add a password, or send it back to your computer, all optional and free.
How do I merge Word documents into one for free?
Open the Merge Word tool and add all the .doc or .docx files you want to combine — you can drop a whole batch at once. Put them in the order you want with the up and down controls, then click Merge Word Documents to download a single combined .docx, with each source document starting on its own page. You can merge up to 20 files at a time, with no sign-up and no watermark.
How do I password protect a PDF for free?
Open the Lock PDF tool, upload your PDF, type the password you want, and download the protected file. It is encrypted with AES-256, so anyone who opens it will need that password. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost.
How do I remove a password from a PDF?
Open the Unlock PDF tool, upload a protected PDF you can open, enter its current password, and download a copy with the password removed. You must know the password — the tool cannot crack or bypass an unknown one.
How do I edit a PDF for free?
Open the Edit PDF tool and upload your file — every page appears as a thumbnail you can act on directly. Delete a page, duplicate one, insert a blank page anywhere, drag pages into a new order, rotate a page, or download a single page on its own. The toolbar adds page numbers, a watermark, a corner stamp, a photo placed directly on a page, and splitting the document into separate files. Your PDF is never uploaded: it is opened and edited entirely in your browser, and only Download saves anything.
How do I add a watermark to a PDF for free?
Open the Add Watermark to PDF tool, upload your file, and turn on the Watermark panel. Type text such as "Draft" or "Confidential", or upload a logo image instead, then type in any rotation angle you want — diagonal, horizontal, or anything in between — a size, a color, and an opacity. A live preview shows the result on every page before you download. It is free, with no sign-up and no branding added.
What is the difference between a watermark and a stamp on a PDF?
A watermark repeats one mark across the whole page at any angle you choose, which is what "Draft" or "Confidential" labels normally need. A stamp places a single mark in one corner instead, like an "APPROVED" badge, a signature, or a company logo, and can be rotated too. Use the Add Watermark to PDF tool for the first and the Add Stamp to PDF tool for the second.
How do I add page numbers to a PDF for free?
Open the Add Page Numbers to PDF tool, upload your file, and open the Page numbers panel. Pick one of six positions, a label format such as "1 / 12" or "Page 1 of 12", a starting number, and a text size, then download. Numbering is applied inside your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded.
How do I insert a blank page into a PDF?
Open the Add Pages to PDF tool and upload your file. Every gap between two pages carries its own + button, so you can insert a blank page exactly where you need it rather than only at the end. The new page can then be dragged elsewhere, rotated, or removed like any other page before you download.
How do I convert an old .doc file to .docx?
Open the DOC to DOCX tool, upload your .doc file, and download the modern .docx version in seconds. Your text, formatting, and images stay exactly as they were — only the file format changes. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost.
Are my files safe and private?
Yes. Files are processed on the server and never written to disk or stored. Once your conversion is delivered, nothing is kept.
PDF to Word
Open tool →Can I convert a PDF to Word without losing formatting?
The converter rebuilds paragraphs, headings, tables, images, and lists so common formatting carries across. How close the result lands to the original depends on how the PDF was made — a simple, text-based PDF usually needs little to no cleanup, while a complex layout with columns, positioned text boxes, or unusual fonts may need some manual adjustment afterward.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Text-based PDFs convert to fully editable Word text. A scanned PDF is made of page images with no real text underneath, so converting it directly does not produce editable text — run it through our OCR PDF tool first to add a text layer, then convert the result here. Mixed PDFs convert the text-based pages normally while the scanned pages still need OCR.
Do I need to give an email to convert PDF to Word?
No. This is a PDF to Word converter with no email and no sign-up required. Upload your PDF, convert it, and download the editable Word file — nothing to register for.
How do I turn a PDF into an editable Word document?
Upload your PDF above and download it as a .docx file. The result is a fully editable Word document you can open in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or any word processor and edit like any other document.
Word to PDF
Open tool →How do I convert Word to PDF without losing formatting?
Upload your .doc or .docx above — layout preservation is the default, not an option you have to find. Headings, spacing, lists, tables, images, columns, headers and footers, and page numbering carry across, hyperlinks stay clickable, and fonts are matched to metric-compatible equivalents so your line breaks and page count do not shift.
Does the PDF have a watermark?
No. Nothing is added to your document — no logo, no footer, no trial stamp. The PDF contains your content and nothing else, which is why it is safe to send a CV, invoice, or contract straight from here.
Do I need to give an email address?
No. There is no sign-up, no email verification, and no account. Upload the document, download the PDF, done — and there is no daily limit on how many you convert.
How do I convert Word to PDF on an iPhone or Android phone?
Open this page in Safari or Chrome on your phone, tap the upload area, and pick the .docx from Files, Google Drive, Dropbox, or wherever it lives. The PDF downloads straight to your device. There is no app to install, and it works identically on iOS and Android.
Will my hyperlinks still work in the PDF?
Yes. Links in your Word document remain clickable in the finished PDF, so a CV linking to a portfolio or an invoice linking to a payment page keeps working for whoever opens it.
Can I convert a Word document to PDF without Microsoft Word installed?
Yes. The conversion happens on our server, so you do not need Word, Office 365, or any other software — just a browser. It works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, and Android alike.
Open tool →Can I zoom in while viewing a PDF?
Yes. Zoom controls sit in the toolbar so you can zoom in to check fine detail or zoom out to see more pages at once, with a one-click reset back to 100%.
What's the difference between View PDF and Edit PDF?
None in terms of tools — they share the exact same in-browser toolkit: delete, duplicate, insert, reorder, rotate, crop, page numbers, rotate-all and reverse, and the annotation tools (whiteout, add text, highlight, blackout, link, add icon). The only difference is how you get to editing: View PDF opens into viewing first with an "Enable editing" button, while Edit PDF goes straight into editing.
How do I view a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device and your PDF renders instantly.
Compress PDF
Open tool →How do I compress a PDF for free?
Drop your PDF into the box above and it is compressed in seconds. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no cost — just download the smaller file. Our free PDF compressor works entirely online, so there is nothing to install.
How do I reduce the size of a PDF to email it?
Many email services cap attachments at around 20–25 MB. Upload your PDF here, let us compress it, and download a much smaller file that fits within those limits — ideal for sending reports, scans, and presentations by email.
Can I compress a PDF without losing quality?
We use a balanced setting that reduces file size while keeping the document clear and easy to read. Text stays sharp and vector graphics are preserved; only images are downsampled to a sensible resolution. For most everyday documents the difference in quality is hard to notice.
Will compressing reduce the quality of my PDF?
Images are recompressed to a smaller, screen-friendly resolution, so a very high-resolution photo may look slightly softer up close. Text and line art are not affected. If a file cannot be made smaller without harming it, we simply return your original unchanged.
How much smaller will my PDF get?
It depends on what is inside. Image-heavy PDFs — scans, brochures, slide decks — often shrink by 70–95%. PDFs that are mostly text may only reduce a little, because text is already compact. Either way you never get a file larger than the one you uploaded.
Why is my PDF file so large?
The usual culprit is images: high-resolution photos, scanned pages, and screenshots take up far more space than text. Compressing the PDF downsamples and re-encodes those images, which is where the big savings come from.
How do I compress a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online PDF compressor that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download. Open this page on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, or Android, upload your PDF, and download the smaller version.
Compress Word
Open tool →Why does my compressed file download as .docx instead of .doc?
If you upload a legacy .doc file, it is normalized to the modern .docx format during compression. The resulting file is therefore downloaded as .docx. Files uploaded as .docx remain .docx.
How do I reduce the size of a Word document?
Upload your .doc or .docx file above. The compressor reduces the size of embedded images inside the document while leaving the document's text and layout unchanged. If the file cannot be reduced, the original is returned.
Does the Word compressor support both .doc and .docx?
Yes. Both .doc and .docx files are supported, up to 25 MB per file. Legacy .doc files are returned as .docx after processing.
How do I compress a Word document for free?
Upload your Word document, let the compressor process it, and download the result. No sign-up, email, or payment is required.
How do I reduce a Word document enough to email it?
If your Word file is too large for an email attachment, compressing its embedded images can reduce the file size. The amount of reduction depends on the document, so compression does not guarantee that every file will fall below a particular email provider's attachment limit.
Can I compress a Word document without changing its text and layout?
The compressor reduces the size of embedded images rather than rewriting the document's text or layout. Image quality can change slightly because images are downsampled and re-encoded to reduce their file size.
How much smaller will my Word document get?
It depends on the contents of the document. Files containing large photos or screenshots can often shrink considerably, while text-heavy documents may see little reduction.
Why is my Word document so large?
Large images are a common reason. High-resolution photos, screenshots, and other embedded graphics can make a Word document much larger than a text-only document.
What happens if my Word document cannot be compressed further?
If processing does not produce a smaller file, the original file is returned instead of giving you a larger file.
Compress Excel
Open tool →Why does my compressed file download as .xlsx instead of .xls?
A legacy .xls file is normalized to the modern .xlsx format as part of compressing it — .xlsx is a more efficient container, so this is a natural part of shrinking the file. The data, formulas, and formatting stay the same.
Will compressing break my formulas?
No. Only embedded images are re-encoded. Every cell, formula, and piece of formatting is left exactly as it was — the compressor never touches worksheet data.
How do I compress an Excel file for free?
Drop your .xls or .xlsx file into the box above and it is compressed in seconds. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no cost — just download the smaller file. Our free Excel compressor works entirely online, so there is nothing to install.
How do I reduce the size of an Excel file to email it?
Many email services cap attachments at around 20–25 MB. Upload your Excel file here, let us compress it, and download a much smaller file that fits within those limits — ideal for sending reports and image-heavy workbooks by email.
How much smaller will my Excel file get?
It depends on what is inside. Workbooks with pasted screenshots, logos, or chart images often shrink noticeably. Workbooks that are mostly formulas and data may barely change, since text and numbers are already compact. Either way you never get a file larger than the one you uploaded.
Does this fix a large file caused by a PivotTable cache?
Not directly — this tool only compresses embedded images. A PivotTable cache is a different kind of bloat that needs a manual fix in Excel (disabling "save source data with the file" or rebuilding the pivot from a trimmed range). See our guide on why Excel files get large for the full list of causes.
Does this work with both .xls and .xlsx files?
Yes. Both the older .xls format and the modern .xlsx format are accepted. An .xls file is normalized to .xlsx as part of compressing it, so your download always comes back as a .xlsx.
Compress PowerPoint
Open tool →Why does my compressed file download as .pptx instead of .ppt?
A legacy .ppt file is normalized to the modern .pptx format as part of compressing it — .pptx is a more efficient container, so this is a natural part of shrinking the file. The slides, text, and layout stay the same.
Will compressing affect my animations or transitions?
No. Only embedded images are re-encoded. Every slide, animation, transition, and piece of text is left exactly as it was — the compressor never touches the slide structure.
Does this compress embedded video?
No, this tool only re-encodes embedded images (photos, screenshots, logos). If a deck is large because of embedded video, trimming or compressing the video separately before inserting it — or linking to it instead of embedding it — will make a bigger difference.
How do I compress a PowerPoint file for free?
Drop your .ppt or .pptx file into the box above and it is compressed in seconds. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no cost — just download the smaller file. Our free PowerPoint compressor works entirely online, so there is nothing to install.
How do I reduce the size of a PowerPoint file to email it?
Many email services cap attachments at around 20–25 MB. Upload your presentation here, let us compress it, and download a much smaller file that fits within those limits — ideal for sending decks with photos by email.
How much smaller will my PowerPoint file get?
It depends on what is inside. Decks packed with full-resolution photos or screenshots often shrink significantly. Decks that are mostly text and simple shapes may barely change, since those are already compact. Either way you never get a file larger than the one you uploaded.
Does this work with both .ppt and .pptx files?
Yes. Both the older .ppt format and the modern .pptx format are accepted. A .ppt file is normalized to .pptx as part of compressing it, so your download always comes back as a .pptx.
Image to Word
Open tool →How do I convert a JPG or PNG to a Word document?
Add your JPG or PNG images above — drop a whole batch at once — put them in the order you want, then convert. You get a single Word (.docx) document with one image per page. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I edit the images after they are in the Word document?
Yes, as images. Once the .docx opens in Word or Google Docs, each picture is a normal inline image you can resize, move, delete, or add captions and headings around. The text visible inside the image itself does not become editable Word text.
Does converting an image to Word make the text inside it editable?
No. This tool places your JPG or PNG into the document as an image rather than running OCR, so any text visible in the picture stays part of that image and cannot be selected or edited. If you need the text pulled out as real, editable text, use an OCR tool such as our OCR PDF converter.
How many images can I combine into one Word document?
Up to 30 images in a single Word document in one conversion, with a 25 MB limit per image, kept in the order you set them.
Which image formats can I convert to Word?
JPG, JPEG, and PNG are supported. Each image is placed on its own page in the finished .docx document.
Can I turn a photo, picture, or pic into a Word document?
Yes. Any JPG or PNG — a phone photo, a screenshot, or a scanned page — can be placed into a Word (.docx) document you can open in Word or Google Docs. Phone photos are rotated upright automatically.
How do I convert a WhatsApp image to Word?
Save the image from WhatsApp to your phone or computer first, then add it above. It becomes a page in a Word (.docx) document — the same way any other JPG or PNG does. Add several WhatsApp photos at once for one combined document.
Does this convert images to a .doc or .docx file?
This tool creates a modern Word (.docx) document, not the older .doc format. A .docx opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and every current word processor.
Is this image to Word converter free?
Yes, completely free with no account, no email, and no watermark on your document.
Are my files kept private?
Yes. Images are processed on the server and never written to disk or stored. They are discarded as soon as your download is ready.
OCR PDF
Open tool →What does OCR mean for a PDF?
OCR stands for optical character recognition — software that reads the shapes of letters in a scanned image and turns them back into real text. For a PDF, that recovered text is added as an invisible layer under the original page image, so the page looks the same but the text becomes searchable and selectable.
Will OCR change how my PDF looks?
No. The original page images are kept exactly as they are — OCR only adds an invisible text layer underneath them. Nothing visible changes; you just gain the ability to search, select, and copy the text.
Can I OCR a PDF that already has some text pages?
Yes. Pages that already contain a real text layer are detected and skipped, so a document mixing scanned and digital pages comes back with every page searchable and no pages altered unnecessarily.
How accurate is the OCR text recognition?
Accuracy depends on the scan quality — clear, high-resolution, well-lit scans recognize best. Blurry, skewed, or handwritten pages may have recognition errors. Either way, the visible page is untouched, so the document is always readable even if a few characters are misrecognized.
What languages does OCR PDF support?
English and Hindi text are recognized in this version of the tool.
How do I make a scanned PDF searchable?
Upload your scanned PDF above and download the result. The tool preserves your document’s original layout while adding a hidden, searchable text layer underneath, so the text becomes selectable and searchable without changing how the page looks.
Can OCR recognize handwritten text?
OCR is built for printed text and works best on typed documents. Neat, block-style handwriting may be partially recognized, but cursive or messy handwriting typically produces lower accuracy.
Is OCR PDF free to use?
Yes. Making a scanned PDF searchable is completely free — no sign-up, no email, and no watermark on your file.
Does OCR work on scanned documents?
Yes. OCR is designed specifically for scanned or image-based documents — invoices, contracts, receipts, books, and reports all become searchable and selectable once processed.
Can I copy text from a scanned PDF after OCR?
Yes. Once OCR finishes, the recognized text sits in a real text layer under the page image, so you can select, copy, and search it exactly like a normal digital PDF.
What’s the difference between a scanned PDF and a searchable PDF?
A scanned PDF is really just a photo of a page — its "text" is pixels, so nothing can be searched, selected, or copied. A searchable PDF has an invisible OCR text layer added underneath the same page image, so it looks identical but the text can be found, selected, and copied.
How do I OCR a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online OCR tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your scanned PDF, and download the searchable result.
Excel to PDF
Open tool →Why does my Excel sheet split across several pages in the PDF?
Usually because the sheet is wider than one printed page. Our converter automatically scales each sheet to fit one page wide before making the PDF, which resolves most cases — though a leftover print area from an earlier print job, or an unusually wide sheet, can still cause extra or oddly shrunk pages.
Can I convert both .xls and .xlsx to PDF?
Yes. Both the older .xls format and the modern .xlsx format are supported. Upload either one and download a PDF in seconds.
Will my formatting and formulas look right in the PDF?
Common formatting — fonts, borders, number formats, and basic page layout — is intended to carry into the PDF as it appears on screen, and formula results show as their calculated values rather than live formulas. Complex features such as charts, conditional formatting, or unusual print settings are not guaranteed to render identically.
Do I need Excel installed to convert to PDF?
No. The conversion runs entirely online with no software, plugin, sign-up, or email required. It works on any device with a browser.
PDF to Excel
Open tool →How do I convert a PDF table to Excel?
Upload your PDF above and we extract its tables into an editable .xlsx spreadsheet. Download it and open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app — the rows and columns are real cells you can edit, sort, and recalculate.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Excel?
Text-based PDFs convert most reliably because the numbers are real, selectable text. Scanned or image-only pages are pictures of a table, so the data may not be recognised. For the cleanest result, use a PDF with selectable text.
Do I need an email or account to convert PDF to Excel?
No. This is a PDF to Excel converter with no email and no sign-up required. Upload your PDF, convert it, and download the Excel file — nothing to register for.
What if my PDF has no tables?
The converter is built for tabular data like invoices, statements, and reports. A PDF with no table structure will come through as plain rows of text rather than a neatly structured grid.
PDF to PowerPoint
Open tool →How do I convert a PDF to PowerPoint?
Upload your PDF above and download it as a .pptx file with one slide per page. Open it in Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides and edit it like any other presentation.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to PowerPoint?
Text-based PDFs convert to editable slide content. Scanned or image-only pages are pictures of text, so they may come through as images and the text may not be editable. For the cleanest result, use a PDF with selectable text.
Do I need an email or account to convert PDF to PowerPoint?
No. This is a PDF to PowerPoint converter with no email and no sign-up required. Upload your PDF, convert it, and download the presentation — nothing to register for.

Yes. Both the older .ppt format and the modern .pptx format are supported. Upload either one and download a PDF in seconds.
Will my fonts and slide layout look right in the PDF?
Yes. Fonts, images, colours, and slide layouts are preserved, and each slide becomes its own page — exactly as the presentation appears.
Do I need PowerPoint installed to convert to PDF?
No. The conversion runs entirely online with no software, plugin, sign-up, or email required. It works on any device with a browser.
Image to PDF
Open tool →How do I combine multiple images into one PDF?
Add all your images above — you can drop a whole batch at once — put them in the order you want with the up and down controls, then convert. You get a single PDF with one image per page. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I reorder the images before converting?
Yes. Each image in the list has up and down controls to change its position and a remove button to take it out. The pages in the finished PDF follow the order you set.
How many images can I combine at once?
You can combine up to 30 images into one PDF in a single conversion, with a 25 MB limit per image.
Why do my phone photos come out sideways in other converters?
Phone photos store their rotation as hidden EXIF orientation data that some tools ignore. We read that data and rotate each image so your PDF always comes out the right way up.
Which image formats can I convert to PDF?
JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and HEIC are all supported. Whatever common image format you have, you can turn it into a PDF here.
Do I need an account or email to convert an image to PDF?
No. This is an image to PDF converter with no email and no sign-up required. Add your images, convert them, and download the PDF — nothing to register for.
HTML to PDF
Open tool →Can I convert a URL to PDF instead of uploading a file?
Yes. Use the From URL tab and enter the webpage address. The page currently available at that URL is rendered and converted into a PDF.
Can I paste HTML code instead of uploading a file?
Yes. Use the Paste code tab and enter your HTML with inline or embedded CSS. The code is rendered and converted into a PDF without requiring you to save it as an HTML file first.
What page size and orientation does the PDF use?
The PDF uses A4 portrait by default. You can choose Letter instead of A4 and Landscape instead of Portrait before converting.
Why is the background missing from my PDF?
Background colors and images are off by default to match common print behavior and help reduce file size. Turn on "Include background colors and images" before converting if you want to preserve them in the PDF.
Is there a size or length limit?
Uploaded HTML files and pasted code are limited to 25 MB. There is no separate fixed page-count limit for webpages, but very large or complex pages may take longer to render.
Do I need an account or email to convert HTML to PDF?
No. Upload your HTML file, paste your code, or enter a public URL, then convert and download your PDF. There is no sign-up, email requirement, or watermark.
Scan to PDF
Open tool →Do I need to install an app to scan photos into a PDF?
No. Open this page in your phone's browser and tap the camera button to capture pages directly — no app install required.
I'm on a computer — how do I scan photos into a PDF?
A computer usually cannot photograph paper well, so this page shows a QR code on desktop. Scan it with your phone's camera to open the same tool there, capture your pages, and download the PDF on your phone.
Can I crop out the background from my scan?
Yes. Each captured photo has a Crop button that lets you drag a rectangle down to just the page, cutting out any desk, background, or hands around it.
What is the difference between the Color, Grayscale, and Black & White scan modes?
Black & White gives a crisp, high-contrast look like a classic paper scan. Grayscale keeps softer tones, which can suit photos or printed pages with shading. Color keeps the photo close to its original colors, with only a light automatic enhance.
Can I scan multiple images into one PDF?
Yes. Capture or add as many photos as you need — up to 30 — reorder and rotate them as required, and they are combined into a single PDF, one page per photo.
PDF to Image
Open tool →How do I convert a PDF to JPG or PNG?
Upload your PDF above, choose JPG or PNG and a quality, then convert. Every page becomes its own image. A multi-page PDF downloads as a ZIP of images; a single-page PDF downloads as one image file. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
What is the difference between JPG and PNG here?
JPG produces smaller files and is ideal for photos and scanned pages. PNG is lossless, so text and line art stay perfectly crisp, but the files are larger. Pick JPG to save space or PNG for the sharpest quality.
Which quality should I choose?
Choose Normal (150 DPI, up to 100 pages) for viewing on screen, emailing, or the web — it keeps files small. Choose High (300 DPI, up to 40 pages) when you need to print the images or zoom in on fine detail.
Is there a page limit?
Yes: Normal quality supports up to 100 pages per conversion, and High quality up to 40 pages, since high-resolution images add up quickly. If your PDF is longer, split it first and convert it in batches, or choose Normal quality for a longer document in one go.
Do I get one image or a ZIP?
A PDF with several pages is delivered as a ZIP containing one image per page, named in page order. A single-page PDF downloads as a single image with no ZIP.
Do I need an account or email to convert a PDF to images?
No. This is a PDF to image converter with no email and no sign-up required. Upload your PDF, convert it, and download the images — nothing to register for.
How do I convert a PDF to images on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your PDF, pick a format, and download the images.
Word to Image
Open tool →How do I convert a Word document to JPG or PNG?
Upload your .doc or .docx file above, choose JPG or PNG and a quality, then convert. Every page becomes its own image. A multi-page document downloads as a ZIP of images; a single-page document downloads as one image file.
Does this work with both .doc and .docx files?
Yes. Upload either the older .doc format or the modern .docx format — both convert to JPG or PNG the same way, with no need to change the file first.
What is the difference between JPG and PNG here?
JPG uses lossy compression and produces smaller files, which is ideal for photos and general sharing. PNG is lossless, so text and line art stay crisp, but the files are larger. Pick JPG to save space or PNG for the sharpest detail.
Do I get one image or a ZIP?
A document with several pages is delivered as a ZIP containing one image per page, named in page order. A single-page document downloads as a single image with no ZIP.

No. This is a Word to image converter with no email and no sign-up required. Upload your document, convert it, and download the images — nothing to register for.
Can I convert a Word document to a photo, picture, or pic?
Yes. Photo, picture, pic, and image all mean the same thing here — each page of your Word file is turned into a JPG or PNG you can view, share, or post anywhere. Choose JPG for smaller photo-style files or PNG for the crispest text.
How do I convert a Word document to images on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your .doc or .docx file, pick a format, and download the images.
Merge Word
Open tool →How do I merge Word documents into one for free?
Add all your .doc or .docx files above — you can drop a whole batch at once — put them in the order you want with the up and down controls, then click Merge Word Documents. You get a single .docx with every document combined in order, each starting on its own page. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I reorder the documents before merging?
Yes. Each file in the list has up and down controls to change its position and a remove button to take it out. The documents appear in the finished file in the order you set.
How many Word documents can I combine at once?
You can merge up to 20 Word documents into one file in a single go, with a 25 MB limit per file.
Will merging change the formatting of my documents?
Each document is converted to PDF to preserve its exact layout, the PDFs are combined in order, and the result is converted back to an editable Word document. Text, images, and layout carry across faithfully; very complex or unusual formatting may simplify slightly.
Can I merge both .doc and .docx files together?
Yes. You can mix the older .doc format and the modern .docx format in the same merge — everything is normalized during the process, and the result always downloads as a .docx.
How do I merge Word documents on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, add your Word documents, order them, and download the merged file.

Open tool →How do I merge PDF files into one for free?
Add all your PDFs above — you can drop a whole batch at once — put them in the order you want with the up and down controls, then click Merge PDFs. You get a single PDF with every page combined in order. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I reorder the PDFs before merging?
Yes. Each file in the list has up and down controls to change its position and a remove button to take it out. The pages in the finished PDF follow the order you set.
How many PDFs can I combine at once?
You can merge up to 30 PDF files into one document in a single go, with a 25 MB limit per file.
Will merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
Do I need an account or email to merge PDFs?
No. This is a PDF merger with no email and no sign-up required. Add your files, merge them, and download the result — nothing to register for.
How do I merge PDFs on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?

Split PDF
Open tool →How do I split a PDF into separate pages?
Upload your PDF, choose "Extract every page into a separate PDF", and convert. Each page becomes its own PDF and they download together as a ZIP. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I split a PDF into chunks of a set number of pages?
Yes. Choose "Split into chunks of" and enter a number — for example 2 — and the PDF is divided into consecutive files of that many pages each, with the last file holding whatever remains.
How do custom page ranges work?
Enter ranges separated by commas, such as 1-3, 4-8, 9. Each range becomes its own PDF, so that example produces three files: pages 1–3, pages 4–8, and page 9. Single pages and ranges can be mixed.
Will splitting change the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
Do I get one file or several?
When a split produces more than one PDF you get a ZIP containing all of them, named in order. When it produces a single PDF — for example one custom range — it downloads as a plain PDF with no ZIP.
How do I split a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your PDF, choose how to split it, and download the result.
Extract PDF Page
Open tool →How do I extract a single page from a PDF?
Upload your PDF, choose "Page number", enter the page you want — for example 5 — and download. That page is pulled out into its own one-page PDF.
How do I extract a range of pages from a PDF?
Choose "Page range" and enter it as start-end, for example 4-9. That whole stretch of pages is pulled out and downloaded as a single PDF.
Can I extract more than one range at once?
Not with this tool — it only takes a single page number or a single range at a time, so the result is always one clean PDF. If you need several separate ranges, fixed-size chunks, or every page split out on its own, use Split PDF instead, which shares the same engine but supports all of those.
Will extracting a page change the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
Does this ever produce a ZIP file?
No. Because you can only extract one page or one range at a time, the result is always a single PDF — never a ZIP.
How do I extract a PDF page on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your PDF, enter the page or range, and download the result.

Upload your PDF above and every page appears as a thumbnail. Click the × on any page you want gone, then download the finished PDF. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
How do I keep only certain pages and delete the rest?
Click × on every page you do not want to keep, leaving only the ones you do. There is no separate "keep" mode — deleting the pages you do not want and keeping the rest is the same action.
Can I undo a deleted page?
Yes, as long as you have not downloaded yet. Click Reset above the page grid and every deleted page is restored in its original position.
Will removing pages change the quality of my PDF?
No. The pages you keep are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
What is the difference between deleting pages and splitting a PDF?
Deleting pages gives you back a single, trimmed PDF with the unwanted pages removed. Splitting breaks one PDF into several separate files — one per page, fixed chunks, or custom ranges. Use Split PDF when you want several files rather than one.
What is the difference between this and Reorder PDF Pages?
This tool only removes pages — the ones you keep stay in their original order. Reorder PDF Pages also lets you drag pages into a new order while deleting, for when you need to do both at once.
How do I delete PDF pages on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your PDF, click × on the pages to remove, and download the result.
Reorder PDF Pages
Open tool →How do I reorder the pages of a PDF for free?
Upload your PDF above and every page appears as a thumbnail. Drag a page to a new position — or use the arrow buttons on it — then click the button below the grid and download the rearranged file. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I delete pages while reordering?
Yes. Every page thumbnail has a × button that deletes that page from the finished PDF, so you can rearrange and remove pages in one pass and download once. Deleted pages are not gone for good until you download — Reset restores them all in their original order.
Can I reorder PDF pages on my phone?
Yes. Each page thumbnail has arrow buttons that move it earlier or later and a × button that deletes it, so you can rearrange a PDF by tapping — no dragging required. It works the same on iPhone and Android as it does on a computer.
How do I reverse the page order of a PDF?
Click the Reverse button above the page grid and the whole document flips back to front in one go — the fix for a stack of pages scanned in the wrong direction. Reset puts everything back the way you uploaded it, including any pages you deleted.
Will rearranging or deleting pages change the quality of my PDF?
No. The pages you keep are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
How many pages can I reorder at once?
PDFs of up to 200 pages are supported, because a thumbnail is rendered for every page so you can see what you are moving. For a longer document, split it into smaller pieces first.
Should I use this or the Delete PDF Pages tool?
Both show every page as a thumbnail you click × to delete. Use this tool when you also need to drag pages into a new order; use Delete PDF Pages when you only need to remove pages and want the rest to stay in their original order.
How do I reorder PDF pages on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your PDF, rearrange the pages, and download the result.
Rotate PDF
Open tool →How do I rotate a PDF for free?
Upload your PDF above and every page appears as a thumbnail with a rotate button. Click it to turn that page 90° clockwise, click Rotate All to turn every page at once, then download the finished PDF. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I rotate just one page instead of the whole document?
Yes. Each page thumbnail has its own rotate button, so you can turn only the pages that are sideways or upside down and leave the rest exactly as they are.
How do I rotate a PDF 180 degrees?
Click a page's rotate button twice — each click turns it 90° clockwise, so two clicks gets you to 180°, and a third click reaches 270°.
Does rotating a PDF save the change permanently?
Yes. Once you download the result, the rotation is written into the PDF itself — it opens right-side up in any PDF reader, not just this tool.
Will rotating change the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Only the page orientation changes — nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
How many pages can I rotate at once?
PDFs of up to 200 pages are supported, because a thumbnail is rendered for every page so you can see what you are rotating. For a longer document, split it into smaller pieces first.
How do I rotate a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your PDF, rotate the pages, and download the result.
Crop PDF
Open tool →Does cropping my PDF upload it anywhere?
No. The PDF opens and each crop is written in, entirely in your browser. Download builds the cropped file and saves it straight from your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Can I crop pages by different amounts?
Yes. Each page has its own independent crop box, so you can trim one page a lot, another a little, and leave others uncropped entirely.
Will cropping reduce my PDF quality?
No. Cropping only changes the visible area of a page — the underlying content is not re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
Can I undo a crop I already applied?
Yes, as long as you have not downloaded yet — reopen Crop on that page and use Reset to restore it to the full page.
Is there a limit on how many pages I can crop?
PDFs of up to 200 pages are supported, because a thumbnail is rendered for every page so you can see what you are cropping. The one other limit is 25 MB for the file you open.
How do I crop a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, crop the pages you need, and download the result.
Add Pages to PDF
Open tool →Does adding a page upload my PDF anywhere?
No. Your file is opened and edited entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server, even when you insert a page. Download builds the finished file and saves it straight from your browser.
Can I add a page in the middle of my document, not just the end?
Yes. Every gap between pages has its own + button, so you can insert a blank page immediately before or after any page — not only at the end.
Can I move the new page after adding it?
Yes. Drag it to a new position like any other page, or use the arrow buttons — the same controls used to reorder the rest of the document.
Can I rotate or delete the page I just added?
Yes. A blank page behaves like any other page in the grid, so it has its own rotate and delete buttons too.
Can I zoom in to see exactly where the page landed?
Yes. Zoom controls sit in the toolbar so you can zoom in to check placement or zoom out to see more of the document at once.
Is there a limit on how many pages I can add?
No limit on inserted pages. The one size limit is 25 MB for the file you open.
How do I add pages to a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, add the pages you need, and download the result.
Add Page Numbers to PDF
Open tool →Does numbering my PDF upload it anywhere?
No. The PDF opens and the numbers are written in, entirely in your browser. Download builds the numbered file and saves it straight from your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Can I start numbering from something other than 1?
Yes. The "Start at" field in the Page numbers panel sets the first number, useful when this PDF continues on from an earlier document.
Where can the page numbers appear?
Any of six positions — top-left, top-center, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right.
Can I change the page number format?
Yes. Choose a running "1 / 12" count, a bare number, "Page 1", "Page 1 of 12", or "- 1 -" from the Format dropdown.
Can I remove page numbers I already added?
Yes, as long as you have not downloaded yet — switch Show page numbers back off before you download.
Can I zoom in to check how a page number looks?
Yes. Zoom controls sit in the toolbar so you can zoom in on any page to check the exact size and position of the number before you download.
How do I add page numbers to a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, turn on page numbers, and download the result.
Add Watermark to PDF
Open tool →Does watermarking my PDF upload it anywhere?
No. The PDF opens and the watermark is drawn in, entirely in your browser. Download builds the finished file and saves it straight from your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Can I use an image as a watermark instead of text?
Yes. Switch the Watermark panel's type to Image and upload a JPEG or PNG — a logo or graphic — and it is stamped across every page the same way text is, with its own size, rotation angle, and opacity.
What is the difference between Watermark and Stamp?
Watermark repeats one text or image mark across the whole page, at any angle you choose — typical for "CONFIDENTIAL" or "DRAFT". For a single mark in one corner instead, like an "APPROVED" badge, a signature, or a logo, use the Add Stamp to PDF tool.
Will the watermark cover my content?
You control that with the opacity setting — a low opacity keeps the underlying page fully readable while still marking every page.
Can I choose the watermark rotation angle?
Yes. Type in any angle you want, in degrees — the classic diagonal tilt, flat horizontal if it needs to sit along the top or bottom without crossing the content, or anything in between.
Can I zoom in to check the watermark placement?
Yes. Zoom controls sit in the toolbar so you can zoom in on a page to check exact size and position before you download, or zoom out to see more pages at once.
Can I remove a watermark I already added?
Yes, as long as you have not downloaded yet — click its Delete icon on the page itself, or delete each watermark you added from the list in the panel.
Is there a limit on how many pages get watermarked?
No limit — a watermark applies to every page. The one size limit is 25 MB for the file you open.
How do I add a watermark to a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?

Open tool →Does stamping my PDF upload it anywhere?
No. The PDF opens and the stamp is drawn in, entirely in your browser. Download builds the finished file and saves it straight from your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Can I use an image as a stamp instead of text?
Yes. Switch the Stamp panel's type to Image and upload a JPEG or PNG — a signature or a company seal — and it is placed in the corner of your choice on every page.
What stamp presets are available?
One-click presets for "APPROVED", "REJECTED", "DRAFT", "PAID", and "URGENT" — or type any other text you want instead.
Can I place the stamp somewhere other than a corner?
Yes. Pick one of the six corner and edge positions from the panel, or drag the stamp directly on any page thumbnail to place it exactly where you want.
Can I rotate the stamp?
Yes. Type in any rotation angle you want, in degrees, for either a text or an image stamp — from a slight tilt to a full sideways turn.
What is the difference between Stamp and Watermark?
Stamp places a single text or image mark in one corner, like an "APPROVED" badge, a signature, or a logo. For a mark that repeats across the whole page, at any angle you choose — typical for "CONFIDENTIAL" or "DRAFT" — use the Add Watermark to PDF tool instead.
Can I zoom in to check the stamp placement?
Yes. Zoom controls sit in the toolbar so you can zoom in on a page to check exact size and position before you download, or zoom out to see more pages at once.
Can I remove a stamp I already added?
Yes, as long as you have not downloaded yet — click its Delete icon on the page itself, or delete each stamp you added from the list in the panel.

No. The PDF opens and the signature is drawn in, entirely in your browser. Download builds the finished file and saves it straight from your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Can I sign from my phone if I am working on a computer?
Yes. The Draw tab shows a QR code on desktop — scan it with your phone's camera, draw your signature there, and it lands directly in the desktop draw box automatically.
Can I move, resize, or rotate my signature after placing it?
Yes. Drag it anywhere on the page, resize it from its corner handles, and type in any rotation angle you want, any time before you download.
Can I sign more than one page?
Yes. Drag your signature onto as many pages as you need — each placement can be repositioned, resized, or deleted independently.
Can I add the date next to my signature?
Yes. The Date stamp is separate from the signature, defaults to today's date, and can be edited, styled, and repositioned on its own.
What is the difference between Sign and Stamp?
Sign is built for signing — type, draw (including from your phone), or upload a signature, plus an editable date, each placed and resized freely. For a repeating mark like "APPROVED" or a company seal on every page, use the Add Stamp to PDF tool instead.
Is there a limit on how many signatures I can add?
No limit — place your signature on as many pages as you need. The one size limit is 25 MB for the file you open.

What image formats can I insert?
JPEG and PNG.
Can I choose which page the image goes on?
Yes. Type in the page number and the image lands there — it is placed on one page you pick, not repeated across the document.
Can I resize or rotate the inserted image?
Yes. Type in its width as a percentage of the page (5% to 100%), and any rotation angle you want, in degrees, from a slight tilt to a full sideways turn.
Can I move the image after placing it?
Yes. It starts centered on the page you chose — drag it directly on the thumbnail to reposition it exactly where you want, any time before you download.
What is the difference between this and Watermark or Stamp?
Insert image places a photo on one page you choose. Watermark repeats a text or image mark across every page, and Stamp places a single badge-style mark in one corner of every page — for those, use the Add Watermark to PDF or Add Stamp to PDF tool.
Can I zoom in to check the image placement?
Yes. Zoom controls sit in the toolbar so you can zoom in on the page to check exact size and position before you download, or zoom out to see more pages at once.

Upload your PDF above, type the password you want, and download the locked file. It is encrypted with AES-256, so anyone who opens it will need that password. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost.
What encryption is used to lock the PDF?
We use AES-256, a strong, modern encryption standard supported by all current PDF readers. The password you choose is required to open the document.
What happens if I forget the password?
For security there is no back door — a locked PDF cannot be opened or recovered without its password. Store the password somewhere safe before you share the file.
Are my files kept private when I lock a PDF?
Yes. Your PDF and password are processed on the server and never written to disk or stored. Everything is discarded the moment your download is ready.
How do I lock a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload your PDF, set a password, and download the locked file.
Will the password be required every time the PDF is opened?

Unlock PDF
Open tool →How do I remove a password from a PDF for free?
Upload the protected PDF above, enter its current password, and download the unlocked copy. The password is stripped out so the new file opens with no prompt. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost.
Do I need to know the password to unlock a PDF?
Yes. This tool removes a password from a PDF you can already open — you must supply the correct password. It cannot crack, guess, or bypass an unknown password, which keeps other people’s protected files safe.
What if I enter the wrong password?
If the password is incorrect the PDF cannot be unlocked, and we will show a clear message so you can try again with the right one.
Are my files kept private when I unlock a PDF?

Repair PDF
Open tool →How do I repair a corrupted PDF for free?
Upload the damaged PDF above. We automatically try several recovery techniques and download the result — the least aggressive fix that works. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no cost.
Can this fix any corrupted PDF?
It fixes the most common causes of a damaged PDF — a broken cross-reference table, an interrupted download, a non-standard export. It cannot recreate page content that was never written or was overwritten at the storage level; if the bytes are genuinely gone, re-downloading or re-exporting the original is the only fix.
What if my PDF is just password-protected, not actually corrupted?
That is a different problem repair cannot help with, since none of its recovery techniques can bypass a password. If you know the password, use Unlock PDF instead — if you don't, the file isn't corrupted and there is nothing to repair.
Will repairing change or remove anything from my PDF?
The first, most common fix changes nothing but the file's internal structure — every page, form field, and piece of metadata survives. Only if your file needs the most aggressive recovery pass might interactive elements like form fields or embedded links be lost; if that happens, your download comes with a note saying so.
Are my files kept private when I repair a PDF?
Yes. Your PDF is processed on the server and never written to disk or stored. Everything is discarded the moment your download is ready.
How do I repair a PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android?
The same way on every device. This is a free online tool that runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Open this page on any device, upload the damaged PDF, and download the repaired file.
View & Edit PDF Metadata
Open tool →What PDF properties can I view?
Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, PDF version, creation and modified dates, page count, page size, encryption status, whether the PDF is tagged, and whether it is linearized (Fast Web View) — the full document properties, read directly from the file.
What PDF metadata can I edit?
Title, Author, Subject, and Keywords — the four fields in a PDF’s Info dictionary that readers, search engines, and file managers display. Each one pre-fills with its current value so you can see what is there before changing it.
How do I remove metadata from a PDF?
Clear the fields you want gone — or use the Remove all metadata button to empty every editable field at once — then save. Cleared fields are dropped from the PDF entirely rather than saved as empty text.
Will editing metadata change how my PDF looks?
No. Only the Title, Author, Subject, and Keywords properties are changed. Every page, image, and piece of text stays exactly as it was.
Can I view or edit metadata on a password-protected PDF?
Not directly — an encrypted PDF has to be readable first. Remove its password with our Unlock PDF tool, then view or edit its metadata here.
Is viewing and editing PDF metadata free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no email, and no watermark. Upload your PDF, check or update its properties, and download the result at no cost.

PDF Font Finder
Open tool →What does "embedded" mean?
An embedded font has its actual font program stored inside the PDF, so it displays correctly on any device. A non-embedded font relies on the viewer having a font of that name already installed, and may be substituted if it doesn't.
What does "subset" mean?
A subsetted font only embeds the specific characters the PDF actually uses, not the whole typeface, to keep file size down. It is common and normal, not a sign of a problem.
Can I find fonts in a password-protected PDF?
Not directly — an encrypted PDF has to be readable first. Remove its password with our Unlock PDF tool, then check its fonts here.
Is this PDF font finder free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no email, and no watermark. Upload your PDF and see its fonts at no cost.
Edit PDF
Open tool →How do I edit a PDF for free?
Upload your PDF above and it opens as a page-by-page editor: delete, duplicate, insert, reorder, or rotate any page, turn on page numbers, then download the result. It is free, with no sign-up and no branding added.
Can I insert a page in the middle of my document, not just the end?
Yes. Every gap between pages has its own + button, so you can insert a blank page immediately before or after any page — not only at the end.
Can I duplicate a page?
Yes. Every page tile has its own duplicate button, which inserts an independent copy right after it — rotate or delete the copy without touching the original.
Can I download just one page instead of the whole PDF?
Yes. Each page tile has its own download button that saves just that page — with any edits you've already made — as its own PDF.
Can I crop a page while editing?
Yes. Every page tile has its own Crop button that opens a draggable crop box directly on that page — each page keeps its own independent crop, so you can trim one page a lot, another a little, and leave the rest untouched.
Can I add a watermark, a stamp, or a photo directly onto a page here?
Not on this page anymore — those moved to their own dedicated tools: Add Watermark to PDF, Add Stamp to PDF, and Insert Image to PDF. Each works the same way, entirely in your browser, and you can chain them with edits made here since nothing is uploaded in between.
Can I add page numbers while I edit?
Yes. The toolbar's Page numbers panel lets you choose a corner or edge, a label format, and a starting number — applied at the same time as any other edits.
Does editing a PDF change its quality?
No. Pages are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality — nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
Can I zoom in while editing?
Yes. Zoom controls sit in the toolbar so you can zoom in to check fine detail — small text, a crop box's exact edge, a page number's size — or zoom out to see more pages at once, at any point while you edit.

DOC to DOCX
Open tool →Do I need Microsoft Word to convert DOC to DOCX?
No. The conversion runs on our server, so there is nothing to install. It works from any browser on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, 25 MB per file — enough for long, image-heavy documents.
Can I convert a password-protected .doc file?
Not directly. Remove the password in Word first (File → Info → Protect Document), then convert the file here.
Do I need to give an email to convert DOC to DOCX?
No. This is a DOC to DOCX converter with no email and no sign-up required. Upload your .doc file, convert it, and download the .docx — nothing to register for.
