Install as an app
This site is a Progressive Web App, so your browser can install it like a native app — no app store listing, no separate download, and no extra software. How to install it
On desktop (Chrome or Edge)
- Open pdftowordfree.com in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right edge of the address bar (it looks like a monitor with a down arrow), or open the browser's ⋮ menu and choose "Install PDF to Word Free…".
- Click Install in the prompt that appears.
- It now opens from your desktop, taskbar, or Start menu — pin it for one-click access.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open the site in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
- Choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".
- Tap Install — an icon appears on your home screen or app drawer that opens straight into the app.
On iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Open the site in Safari — this only works from Safari, not Chrome, on iOS.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap Add — it now launches full-screen from your home screen like any other app.
