What page size does the PDF use?
Each image is placed on an A4 page — portrait or landscape, chosen automatically to match the shape of the picture — scaled to fit inside a small half-inch margin and centred. That keeps the finished PDF predictable to print on standard paper.
Does converting reduce the quality of my images?
Pixel dimensions are never reduced, so nothing is downscaled. Opaque photos are re-encoded as high-quality JPEG to keep the PDF a sensible size, which is not visible at normal viewing or print sizes; images with transparency are stored losslessly as PNG instead.
What happens to my photos after conversion?
They are processed on the server and never written to disk. Your images and the finished PDF are both discarded as soon as your download is ready.
