Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Welcome to PDF to Word Free. By accessing or using our website and free document conversion tools (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Use of the Service
The Service is provided free of charge for a range of document tools covering PDF and Word files — including converting between PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and image formats; compressing, merging, and splitting files; reordering or deleting PDF pages; locking and unlocking PDFs; editing PDF metadata; and adding OCR text to scanned PDFs. You may use it for personal or commercial purposes, provided you comply with these terms and all applicable laws.
Some conversions rely on a third-party processing engine under a monthly usage allowance (see our Privacy Policy for details); most of these automatically fall back to our own server if that allowance is reached, though output quality may vary as a result.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload or convert files you do not have the right to use.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or harmful.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated systems to abuse or overwhelm the Service.
Your content
You retain all rights to the files you upload. You are solely responsible for the content of those files and for ensuring you have the necessary rights to convert them. As described in our Privacy Policy, files are processed in memory and are not stored after conversion.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, branding, and code, is owned by PDF to Word Free and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free, that formatting will be perfectly preserved, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDF to Word Free shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
