Does Image to Word convert image text into editable text?

No. This tool inserts your JPG or PNG into the .docx as a picture — it does not run OCR (optical character recognition), so any text visible inside the image stays part of that image and cannot be selected, searched, or edited as Word text. You can still move, resize, and rearrange the picture itself.
