Frequently asked questions
Does this keep the original styling and images?
Yes. The page is rendered the way a browser would show it, so supported fonts, colors, images, and layout are preserved rather than reduced to plain text. Turn on "Include background colors and images" if the page has a background color or image you want to keep. It is off by default to reduce ink usage and file size.
Can I convert a live website, not just a file?
Yes. Switch to the From URL tab, enter the public webpage address, and the page currently available at that URL is rendered to PDF. Pages behind a login cannot be accessed because the converter does not sign in on your behalf.
What happens to my file, code, or the page I convert?
Everything is processed on the server and never written to disk. Your input and the finished PDF are discarded as soon as your download is ready.
Can I convert a URL to PDF instead of uploading a file?
Yes. Use the From URL tab and enter the webpage address. The page currently available at that URL is rendered and converted into a PDF.
Can I paste HTML code instead of uploading a file?
Yes. Use the Paste code tab and enter your HTML with inline or embedded CSS. The code is rendered and converted into a PDF without requiring you to save it as an HTML file first.
What page size and orientation does the PDF use?
The PDF uses A4 portrait by default. You can choose Letter instead of A4 and Landscape instead of Portrait before converting.
Why is the background missing from my PDF?
Background colors and images are off by default to match common print behavior and help reduce file size. Turn on "Include background colors and images" before converting if you want to preserve them in the PDF.
Is there a size or length limit?
Uploaded HTML files and pasted code are limited to 25 MB. There is no separate fixed page-count limit for webpages, but very large or complex pages may take longer to render.
Do I need an account or email to convert HTML to PDF?
