How to split a PDF into separate files
It takes three steps: upload your PDF, choose how to split it, and download the result. Every page is copied across exactly as it is — fonts, images, and layout are preserved, and nothing is re-rendered or compressed. When your split produces several files they arrive as a single ZIP so you can download them all at once; when it produces just one file (for example a single custom range) it downloads as a plain PDF.

Can I split a PDF into chunks of a set number of pages?
Yes. Choose "Split into chunks of" and enter a number — for example 2 — and the PDF is divided into consecutive files of that many pages each, with the last file holding whatever remains.
How do custom page ranges work?
Enter ranges separated by commas, such as 1-3, 4-8, 9. Each range becomes its own PDF, so that example produces three files: pages 1–3, pages 4–8, and page 9. Single pages and ranges can be mixed.
Will splitting change the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied across as-is, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality. Nothing is re-rendered, compressed, or downgraded.
Do I get one file or several?
When a split produces more than one PDF you get a ZIP containing all of them, named in order. When it produces a single PDF — for example one custom range — it downloads as a plain PDF with no ZIP.
